FAQ

What is your position on Bible translations?

We exclusively teach and preach from the King James Version.

We believe that it is a completely accurate translation of the correct Greek and Hebrew manuscripts.

We also realize that this is a complex, nuanced issue and choose to be kind and loving towards our brothers and sisters in Christ who do not share our exact position.

We are committed to properly defining the KJV English by using the dictionary, and consulting the original Greek and Hebrew words.

What is your music like?

Our music tends to be on the conservative side, consisting mostly of hymns, along with some worship choruses and special numbers.

We enjoy all kinds of musical instruments and hope to have more in the future.

Currently you may hear piano, guitar, or keyboard in our services, and recorded gospel bluegrass instrumentals during the prelude.

Are you family integrated?

We are committed to serving each individual family in the best way possible.

We have a nursery for babies, and some wonderful ladies with many years of experience in children's ministry who can provide a time of crafts, snacks, and a Bible lesson for the kids who may not be able to sit through the main service, or for those who may be seeking a kids church activity.

Please know that you will never be pressured to separate from your child. We also have a room in the back of the sanctuary with: a tv streaming the service , rockers, and a changing table for Moms and babies who may need a break from the worship service.

We love kids! It is a delight to our congregation when families sit together in church.

Do you have a dress code?

We do not have a uniform dress code.

Many of our people wear 'business casual' clothes, while others dress up a little more.

Please come as you are, and be prepared for a warm welcome!

Do you belong to any denomination or associations?

No, we are an independent Baptist church.
